SPECIAL SESSIONS AND WORKSHOPS
Special Session 1
BUILDING SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
The theme of “Building Sustainable Healthcare Through Technology” is the newest action initiated in The International Union for Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine (IUPESM) which represents the combined efforts of International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) and International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP). IUPESM is a member of the International Council for Science (ICS). There are more than 25,000 medical physicists (MPs)affiliated to IOMP and 120,000 biomedical engineers (BMEs) affiliated to IFMBE working on the physical and engineering science of medicine.
